Rescue Attempt
On the 16th March 2010 an unfortunate accident at sea endangering the life of a family with two children as a result of a private yacht capsizing resulted in the safe rescue of the father on two children.Sadly though the mother was not found.After searching around the clock the authorities requested the assistance of our Search and Rescue team in the effort to find the young lady.
Some members of the technical diving team of Nautilos Search and Rescue Team accompanied the authorities in the search for the missing young lady.Due to bad weather visibility was very bad but this did not stop everyone from searching.Our team used Dive Propulsion Vehicles (Hollis Scooter) and Underwater Communication(Ocean Reef - Full Face Masks) to cover a larger search area and to communicate with each other.The search last almost the whole day with no luck in finding the young lady.This search continues.
